Irum Inayat
Post-Doctoral Researcher
I am working as a Senior Post-Doctoral researcher at University College Cork and Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software. I am working on a multidisciplinary project that explores the responsible side of software engineering at LERO-University College Cork, and the Department of Software Engineering, University of Limerick. I have more than ten years of research and academic experience. My doctoral research and professional experience in the industry are focused on software engineering, specifically agile methodologies. I have always been eager to conduct research in multidisciplinary fields. Over the years, I have integrated software engineering with multiple fields like automation systems, IIOT, sociopsychology, and AI. I enjoy this process of learning about new technologies and new disciplines. My current research project is a merger of the Department of Applied Psychology and the Software Engineering Center Lero. This project explores the responsible side of software engineering, which is of a socio-technical and socio-psychological nature. I look forward to extending my interest in relevant fields in the future.
