JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The overall purpose of the job is to ensure the smooth operation of assigned projects. The details of the description below relate to the initial two projects assigned, but it should be recognised that other projects are likely to be assigned in due course and that they may have specific additional administrative and/or reporting requirements.

Post Summary

The Research Project Manager (PM) will support the UL-based academic coordinators leading the Horizon 2020 funded project “Advanced Learning in Evolving Critical Systems” (ALECS) and the COST funded action “From Sharing to Caring: Examining Socio-Technical Aspects of the Collaborative Economy” (CA16121). The post holder will be located in UL and will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of both projects.

While reporting directly to the Lero Operations Manager, the PM will work in close collaboration with the respective project coordinators, as well as other members of the Lero research centre operations team. UL will provide the PM with additional support through the Research Office and the Technology Transfer Office, who have extensive experience in disseminating EU programmes to international audiences.
