Profile Philip Perry

Philip Perry received his B.Eng. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland in 1987, his M.Sc. in RF and Microwave Engineering from University of Bradford, England, in 1988 and his Ph.D. from University College Dublin, Ireland in 1998. He has held a number of academic and research positions in both University College Dublin and Dublin City University covering both Computer Science and Electronic Engineering schools. He has also worked with and for a number of companies, most notably Lucent Technologies and Ericsson Systems Expertise. Currently he is a consultant engineer, and a senior research fellow in both University College Dublin and Dublin City University. He has authored more than 80 papers in the fields of radio technology, optical systems and networking.
