Getting To Limerick

The best way to reach Lero in the University of Limerick is to fly to Shannon Airport, located 20km north of Limerick City. Scheduled flights arrive daily at Shannon from several European and US locations providing a convenient hub facility.

A bus service is available from Shannon Airport to Limerick City Centre (train and bus station). From there it is a short (10 minute) bus trip or taxi trip to the University.
A taxi desk and car rental facilities are located in the arrivals hall at Shannon Airport. It would take approximately 35 minutes to travel to Lero at the University by car, from the airport
For delegates arriving at Dublin Airport, Limerick is serviced by regular train and bus services originating from Dublin city centre.
