Lero has a strong tradition in attracting world conferences in research areas of interest. These conferences have raised both Lero and Ireland’s profile. They have had a substantial and immediate economic impact by attracting hundreds of international delegates to Ireland. To date Lero has hosted 16 conferences with 2 further conferences FM2011 and WCRE11 scheduled for 2011.
