The overall management of the Centre is the role of the Management Committee. This team sets goals, monitors progress, identifies opportunities and deals with any issues that arise. Every partner institution is represented, while Industrial, Outreach and Commercial Development functions also attend. Membership is as follows:

• Director;
• Chief Operations Officer;
• Industrial Liaison Officer.

One representative from each of UL, TCD, UCD, DCU, DkIT, NUIG and from any HEI that becomes a
member of Lero.

The Chief Scientist acts as the institutional representative for his/her institution.
The Management Committee meets monthly by teleconference and quarterly in person.
