Day to day, the Centre is run by the Executive Committee, made up of the Director, the Chief Operations Officer, the Industry Liaison Officer and the Chief Scientist.

The Director focuses on strategic planning, on driving the research agenda, the themes and the linkages across campuses, disciplines and work programmes, as well as on liaison with funding bodies and host universities.

The Chief Operations Officer is responsible for day-to-day management, progress monitoring, reporting, infrastructure, and budget control.

The Industry Liaison Officer is dedicated to building collaborative relationships with multinational and indigenous industry, in Ireland and overseas.

The Chief Scientist works directly with work programme teams, advising, identifying opportunities for more/better research, mentoring and stimulating research teams to give of their best.
